GSOA Response to NTRA Consultation on Satellite Direct-to-Device (D2D) in Egypt

GSOA welcomes NTRA’s proactive engagement on the emerging field of Direct-to-Device (D2D) satellite communications. We strongly support a regulatory framework that enables innovation, fosters early deployment, and provides legal certainty without prescribing specific technologies or business models. Given the dynamic nature of the D2D ecosystem, especially with IMT and MSS convergence, we urge Egypt to embrace a flexible, futureproof approach aligned with international best practices.
