RRT question on satellite usage of Ka band
ESOA) welcomes the opportunity to provide information to the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania (RRT) on satellite broadband services available and under development in the Ka-band, in particular those services that require access to the entire 27.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) band. ESOA provides an overview below of satellite 5G and broadband services available today and planned for deployment in the near future, including in Lithuania, as well as the spectrum requirements necessary for Lithuanians to enjoy those services. ESOA also provides RRT its views on the appropriate spectrum for terrestrial IMT/5G services in Lithuania.
